I have already posted a 1st Review for the Doctor’s CarbRite Diet Bars – “Chocolate Mint Cookie” Review on October 3rd 2012, which you can read here. As well, I posted a review for the CarbRite Diet Bar – “S’Mores” and “Cookie Dough” on October 9th, 2012 which you can read here.
Today, I am posting a Review for another flavor – Chocolate Banana Nut.
My Review & Ratings – 4.0 out of 5 - Tastewise, this bar was nice, although somewhat subtle with all it’s flavors. It left me wanting “more.” The flavors don’t really “spark” or “pop” much. However, I could taste tinges of the main ingredients that give this bar it’s title: hues of the cocoa butter, soy nuts, and banana.
Texture-wise, the bar has a very smooth & almost decadent soft yet solid consistency. No crunchy or crispness. It’s texture is much like a milky-way or reese’s peanut butter cup.
Nutritionally, this bar is Gluten-Free, and has 190 calories (moderate), is low-fat at only 4 grams, 0 trans fat, contains 20 carbs, but only 1 Total Carb for the bar, because 19 grams comes from sugar alcohols which CarbRite uses.
Additionally, I am posting a link and a 4-Star Recipe called “Chocolate Banana Nut Muffins” over at Food.com which the ingredients reminds me of this flavor (bananas and chocolate) of the CarbRite bar. These muffins look delicious though! You can find the recipe here.

Question for My Readers: Have you tried any of CarbRite’s Bars yet? If so, which flavors? How about recipes? Do you know of any good recipes using bananas and nuts or bananas and chocolate?
